Telematics installer RS Connect is looking to double its turnover within the next two years having secured investment from Beech Tree Private Equity.

The Coleshill-based firm, which recently changed its name from RS Fleet Installations, currently works with telematics insurers includingTescoBank, Insure the box, RSA and the RAC, as well as installing solutions for large fleets like Amazon and British Gas.

The company employs 200 people across the UK and has a 130-strong vehicle fleet which has recently been re-branded following the name change.

Lea Hodson, managing director of RS Connect, said: “We have grown phenomenally since we launched the business five years ago and we now have a turnover close to £10m. We are looking to double this within the next two years through developing new market opportunities.

"Our new brand will support this new market development as we look to innovate new technologies, not just install them, underlining our mission to create a safer world driven by technology.”
