Due to last minute interest, Brake has extended its Fleet Safety Awards deadline until June 3.

The awards, which honour the achievements of fleet operators and suppliers working to help reduce the number of road crashes involving at-work drivers, will be presented during an evening ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, on Thursday September 29 2016.

Ellie Pearson, professional engagement manager at Brake, said: “We’re delighted that the level of interest in this year’s Fleet Safety Awards has been so incredibly high, with lots of organisations expressing a last minute interest in entering. Entering the Fleet Safety Awards is a fantastic opportunity for organisations and individuals to gain recognition for their successes in improving fleet safety, and so we’re extending this year’s awards deadline to allow as many organisations as possible to be in with a chance of winning one of our prestigious awards. The awards are free and simple to enter, and I’d encourage anyone who has not yet had chance to enter to take advantage of the deadline extension.”

Jason Chamberlain, sales and marketing director at ARI, added: “We are hugely proud to continue our partnership with Brake as sponsor of the 2016 Fleet Safety Awards. As a former Brake Award winner ourselves for our Riskmaster driver management product, we have the utmost respect for the level of dedication shown by Brake and all potential award entrants from the fleet industry, working tirelessly to help realise Brake’s vision of zero road deaths and serious injuries.”
