Telematics and vehicle tracking services provider Masternaut is attending next week's Company Car In Action to help educate fleets on how to get more from their company cars and reduce driver risk.

Exhibiting on stand 12, the company is hosting the Masternaut driver challenge to see who can get around the circuit without any harsh driving events, such as speeding, heavy or late braking, harsh acceleration and cornering.

Scores will be displayed on the Masternaut driver companion mobile app and participants will receive a full debrief on their driving style and some tips from a Masternaut consultant.

The company will also be exhibniting its Connect platform which enables fleets to capture in-depth company car usage data.

Attendees will get a first look at upcoming launches for the Connect system, and see how the new maintenance service is giving fleet managers the ability to adopt a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and how this keeps company executives safe on the road.

Masternaut will also provide insight on how administration can be slashed using the tax and expense module, by recording and delivering accurate mileage reports ready for the HMRC.

Steve Towe, chief commercial oficer and UK managing director, commented, “We understand that some company car drivers still have concerns around privacy, particularly if they’re using their vehicles for personal use.

"But Masternaut Connect ensures that any private mileage isn’t recorded to ensure complete privacy outside of work hours. Masternaut Connect plays a vital role in helping companies to get their drivers home safely.”

Company Car In Action is held at Millbrook Proving Ground, in Bedfordshire, and will take place on June 14-15.
