Private, company car drivers and fleet managers can now get a wide range of comparative data to aid informed car buying decisions, courtesy of a new comparison tool on the Kia website.

The application is powered by independent data and systems experts KeeResources, providing Kia buyers with industry-leading transparency.

Melanie Minett, dealer and channel marketing manager at Kia, said: “Having worked with KeeResources for the last three years, the quality and breadth of their data and their independence add real credibility and value to our website. This newest version of the application helps to ensure our website gains additional credibility and ‘stickiness’; assisting our customers and dealers alike.”

The data enables site visitors to select any car from the growing Kia car range and then select comparable vehicles from other brands, for comparison of costs and specification. Purchase price, company car tax, Benefit-in-Kind (BIK) tax, specification and operating costs all feature.

With BIK taxation changes on the horizon, the comparison application provides insight into true tax positions over the anticipated use cycle, and is likely to be especially popular in helping drivers to identify their next company car.

Alan Henson (pictured), head of sales and customer service at KeeResources, said: “Data granularity and accuracy is at the very core of our business. With so many private and business vehicle buyers extensively researching their next purchase online, our extensive comparison data is an ideal way for Kia to properly engage with customers. What the customer sees is a genuine comparison – and this creates a high level of trust in the Kia brand.”

This new, fully-embedded KeeResources powered comparator has been launched to coincide with the launch of the new Kia website.
