Twenty car manufacturers have signed up to Company Car in Action (CCIA) 2017, offering fleet decision-makers the chance to drive the widest range of new cars at the biggest audited ride and drive event in Europe.

They include traditional fleet favourites such as Ford, Vauxhall and Volkswagen, premium brands such as BMW, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lexus and Volvo, and manufacturers looking to grow their presence in fleet, including Fiat, Kia and Seat.

Fleets can now secure their place at CCIA as registration has opened. Simply visit the dedicated website www.companycarinaction.co.uk and provide a few details to register.

CCIA takes place on June 13-14, when fleet decision-makers gain access to the closed roads of the exclusive Millbrook Proving Ground, in Bedfordshire, where they can expertly evaluate cars in a purpose-built environment.

Four unique test routes have been designed specifically so that decision-makers can understand the real-world performance of vehicles before adding them to their fleets.

Route choices include a testing city circuit, high-speed driving, a challenging hill route and an off-road course.

A wealth of models will be available to test, from city cars and superminis to the latest 4x4s and luxury models.

In addition to unrivalled access to hundreds of potential test drives, the experience is enhanced through direct access to manufacturer representatives who can discuss each fleet’s specific requirements and questions.

There are a range of added value elements to the day, both on and off the track, including high-speed passenger rides in a number of high-performance models.

Companies can also take part in strategic debates during the day and review the future of fleet at the EV/hydrogen Review Zone.

The dedicated area covers all forms of electric vehicles, from plug-in EVs to hydrogen-powered cars. It will dominate the indoor arena, reflecting the growing importance of electric vehicles in the future purchasing choices of fleet decision-makers.

Access to hundreds of new car models and extensive insight makes sure a manager’s valuable time is used most efficiently, with a unique market overview achieved in a day that would take weeks in an office-based environment.

The experience and insight provided also means that fleet managers will be better prepared to answer some of the most pressing questions that drivers and senior managers ask about future vehicle choices.
