Cenex has confirmed that the Society for Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) and Innovate UK will be keynote speakers at the Millbrook-based Low Carbon Vehicle Event 2017 (LCV2017).

Konstanze Scharring, policy director at the SMMT and Graham Hoare, chair of the technology group of the Automotive Council and Ford Motor Company’s director of global vehicle evaluation and verification, will be among the keynote speakers at the 10th annual LCV event on September 6-7.

Cenex’s chief executive Robert Evans said: “I look forward to joining industry leaders from the Automotive Council, SMMT, APC, Innovate UK, and the Office of Low Emissions Vehicles in celebrating the progress the low carbon vehicle industry has made since our first LCV event a decade ago.

“We will be joined by over 80 speakers, amongst whom are CEOs, CTOs, and founders of some of the most innovative organisations in the low emission vehicle industry. With such a high calibre of speakers and seminars, I am confident that this will be the biggest and best LCV event to date.”

Other keynote speakers include Simon Edmonds of Innovate UK, Ian Constance, the chief executive of Advanced Propulsion Centre UK and Natasha Robinson, head of the UK Office of Low Emission Vehicles, who will join the expected 3,000 attendees in reflecting on the industry’s progress while identifying the technology, policy and market trends that will drive the future of low carbon transportation.
