Fleet managers attending Fleet Management Live were among the first members of the public in the UK to see the new Audi A4.

The first deliveries of the premium saloon will not take place until next month, but fleet operators at the event were given an exclusive preview of the car before it hits showrooms.

“We held roadshow events where we took the new A4 for people to see, but these were invite-only,” says David Hanna, national fleet sales manager for Audi UK.

“This was the first public display of the car and we’ve had very positive reaction from fleets.”

Hanna says CO2 emissions for the range will start at 99g/km, while the trim levels have been simplified to three equipment grades: SE, Sport and S-Line.

Other cars on the manufacturer’s stand were an A3 Sportback eTron plug-in hybrid, which has CO2 emissions of 37g/km and official combined fuel economy of 176.6mpg, an A6 Avant and the new Q7.
