Dawsonrentals Vans has increased its fleet by more than 300 new vehicles in the second quarter of 2016, as the business works on its goal to supply a best in class fleet.

The acquisition continues longstanding relationships with Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Ford and Isuzu for the company. It has also welcomed Vauxhall vehicles to its fleet for the first time.

The business has invested in Vauxhall Vivaro Sportive vans following a high demand from customers looking to operate the newest vans in their industry sectors.

Gareth Jones, managing director at Dawsonrentals Vans, said: “Due to our growing customer base we are seeing an increase in demand for vehicles that don’t just cater to the urban driver, but are suitable for a range of different terrains, which is why we’re also investing heavily in our Specialist Division throughout the second quarter of the year.”

Throughout Q2 2016 Dawsonrentals Vans aims to continue investment in its Specialist Vehicle Division, to meet growing demand from the construction and traffic management industries for drop sides, 4X4 and tippers.

Calvin Moore, fleet manager at Dawsonrentals Vans, said: “Our investment in over 300 new vehicles in this quarter is in addition to 800 new units brought in at the start of the year and several thousand additions planned before the end of 2016.”
