Vox Pops - Fleet Managers Views
Nigel Trotman, fleet manager at Lex Autolease:
“I was pleasantly surprised by the Toyota Auris Hybrid in how well it drove. You can really see the impact of the various modes of driving, especially eco mode – that pushes home the environmental message that it’s not just about the right foot, there are other things that affect emissions, such as the fan. You see a real difference when you put it into eco mode.”
Leigh Stiff, fleet manager at Hannaford:
“CCIA is a good opportunity for companies like us with sole supply to see what else is out there. We can check out what other manufacturers can offer and try the cars for ourselves. Our agenda today is to try as much as possible in each range. It would take weeks if not months to drive all these cars ordinarily – we can do it all in one day at CCIA.”
