Review
Simon Harris, deputy editor, Fleet News said: It was difficult to imagine from the interior that you were in a near-£30,000 car, although Mitsubishi has included stitched leather trim on the dashboard and other interior parts to try to give the i-Miev more of an upmarket feel.
It was also disappointing to see the range readout showing no more than 64 miles after a full charge, but with some gentle driving this did take a long time before it started to decrease.
What works against the i-Miev is that it was designed as a petrol-engined car originally, so is something of a compromise vehicle.
But in spite of this, and in spite of the limitations – of electric vehicles in general, not necessarily the Mitsubishi – the i-Miev is a good town car, and there is still something
attractive about travelling around in silence, knowing there’s nothing harmful coming out of the back.
