With a credit account facility from Kwik-Fit Fleet, organisations can access our full range of products and services. It’s the mainstay of our UK fleet offering and is managed by a regional account manager and supported by named staff in our St Albans fleet HQ.

A monthly statement accompanied by detailed management reporting then shows all fleet purchases in a simple display, enabling fleet decision-makers to easily identify purchasing trends and potential cost savings and giving vehicle-by-vehicle control over maintenance budgets.

The Business Drive Card can be used to purchase all of Kwik-Fit’s services, but additionally gives drivers access to a range of services from other fleet providers, such as vehicle hire, and can double up as a fuel card.

It can be used at more than 24,000 locations across the UK and provides flexibility and control by replacing the expensive reimbursement system typically used by many smaller employers.

The card also gives companies the discount levels on motoring goods and services normally only available to major fleets.

It also aids fleet administration because having one single consolidated invoice, detailing every transaction by driver, means that fleet managers and company accountants are not weighed down under piles of invoices from a variety of suppliers.

When using the card to pay for products, the driver must supply the vehicle registration number, vehicle mileage and location of purchase.

By studying such data and the details of the actual transaction a picture of the vehicle’s use can be built up.

Poor fuel consumption figures, for example, can be identified, expensive fuel outlets can be eliminated and drivers getting through too many tyres can be spotted.

Having spotted any unusual trends that could highlight costly driving habits, fleet decision-makers can then implement remedies to alleviate the problem.

That might include raising issues with the employee concerned, arranging driver training or taking remedial action to eliminate a specific mechanical problem.
