Contract Site Logistics Manager
The role of the Site Logistics Manager is primarily the coordination and management of the whole development site in line with the Development Site Management Plan. The role encompasses several different areas of responsibility, including:
Planning the set-up of the site so that the workforce, construction traffic, deliveries, and members of the public (where appropriate) can move around efficiently and safely.
Ensure the road network is kept clean from mud and general rubbish
Manage installation of the Master Developers site accommodation and manage these facilities
Create a schedule of logistics meetings. Chair these meetings and produce records
Monitor the performance of Contractors working directly for the Master Developer
Record keeping and key performance indicator (KPI) production.
Ensure all site signage is erected in accordance with the Master Developers requirements
Liaise with the Local Authority and County Council where appropriate
Monitor the environmental performance of Developers and Contractors to ensure that they do not damage or pollute the local eco-systems. This includes protection of existing habitats and watercoursesEssential Skills
A track record of delivery within a construction management or logistics function
Current full UK driving licenseBeneficial qualifications
SMSTS / SSSTS
Recognised safety programme, qualified and up to date
