Deputy Stores and Logistics Manager opportunity has arisen at an expanding, global aviation company
(Part 145). You will guide and support the daily operations of the stores and logistics department, including stores management, logistics, imports, exports and procurement.
This is a senior role and we’re expecting a seasoned aviation stores and logistics professional who can hit the ground running.
The responsibilities of the Deputy Stores and Logistics Manager include, but aren’t limited to:
Providing management information.
Supporting tender and bid activities.
Planning for the future of the department and implementing new strategic initiatives.
Developing the team members through mentorship, performance management and identifying any training needs.
Providing cover for the manager when necessary.
To succeed within this role, experience within a stores environment in a Part 145 maintenance organisation is essential. Knowledge of importing and exporting regulations, as well as relevant logistic companies, would prove to be a distinct advantage.
You should excel working within a fast-paced environment, alongside junior team members and senior managers.
