Our client is a well-established organisation in the Audio Visual Equipment Industry, the company supply a wide range of Audio Visual Equipment including AV Consumables, AV installations, Repairs and Hire to a variation of organisations including TV Studios, Churches, Schools, Hotels, Theatres, Leisure Companies, shops across the whole of the UK.
The company are now looking to recruit an Event & Logistics Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Audio Visual / AV Equipment industry and have a proven track-record in Event Management & Logistics. Candidate will be fully responsible for conference & broadcast events logistics including; crew schedules, booking crew, accommodation and transport. Candidate must be well organised, proactive, hardworking and prepared to go ‘the extra mile’ to ensure the job is done!
AV Equipment Experience is desirable not essential – allied industries will be strongly considered.
Principal responsibilities / Knowledge / Experience
1. Minimum 2 years of proven Event & Logistics Management experience.
2. Audio Visual / AV Equipment Experience – advantageous.
3. Maintain a professional relationship with customers and ensure they are kept satisfied with the company’s services.
4. Highly organised and a very quick learner.
5. Effective Communicator.
6. Prompt and accurate reporting to the Directors as required.
7. Computer literate.
