Salary £35,000 to £40,000 dependent on experience
LSS Waste Management Ltd is one of the leading independent waste
management, skip hire and recycling companies in the UK.
We are looking for an experienced skilled Fleet Manager who is also a
qualified HGV Mechanic/Technician to join and manage our existing team
based in our busy purpose built Maintenance Facility, just outside
Leeds city centre.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in fleet
management and will be responsible for proactively managing the fleet
of vehicles and daily activities within the maintenance facility, in
particular, job allocation, parts sourcing and staff management.
As well as managing the Maintenance Facility you will need to be hands
on with the fleet, providing routine maintenance, repairs and MOT and
servicing preparation as and when required.
The ideal candidate with have the following:
* Minimum of 5 years experience
* HGV License would be an advantage, but not essential
* Able to work on their own initiative, be conscientious and take
pride in their work and be well organised
* Computer literate, good admin skills
* Excellent communication skills, reliable and health & safety aware
* Experienced in carrying out inspections, service and mot
* Previous experience of managing a team
You’ll be working Monday to Friday day shift between the hours of 0600
to 1800. Overtime as and when required, including some Saturdays which
are payable at time and a half.
For this role we are looking to offer a salary of £35,000 to £40,000
