Ganymede is one of the leading suppliers of qualified, multi-disciplined operatives in the rail industry. We are currently recruiting for a Fleet Manager who shares our values to join our team at our Head Office in Derby.
The Fleet manager has overall responsibility of managing the vehicle fleet and driver approval status for Ganymede Solutions. You will also ensure the fleet is operated in line with all regulatory requirements and changes are kept up to date with and relevant personnel briefed. As Fleet manager you will identify risks and be responsible for highlighting these to the operational teams.
The ideal candidate will have experience within a Fleet Management role. You will possess strong communication and management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers. You will be a process-driven individual, with the capacity to create management reports, manage budgets and ensure the highest health and safety standards are being adhered to at all times. This is a hands-on role; you will be required to travel to different operational locations on an ad-hoc basis alongside the operational and logistical management aspects of the role.
You will be responsible for managing the Ganymede Fleet team, with two direct reports and preferably will have experience managing a team.
