Global Logistics Manager
Our client is an international, innovative consumer goods business and is fast-growing. They have a requirement to recruit for a Global Logistics Manager, a newly created role, reporting into the Logistics Director.
The role primarily is to manage various logistics functions and provide full global logistics support to the business and to evolve in order to best support the rapidly increasing growth of the Company including emerging markets.
The role has lots of potential for growth and would ideally suit a candidate looking to progress further in the logistics function. They are looking for a candidate who can review their current processes and make strategic plans for the function’s future. The role includes, but is not limited to:
Management of shipping schedule
Management of 3PL
Identifying cost saving opportunities
Reviewing customers clearance paperwork
Arranging customer bookings and deliveries
Their office hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm (40-hour week).
To be considered for this role, you will need:
Extensive experience in international logistics in a similar role
Strong experience working with multiple 3PLs
Excellent understanding of supply chain and logistics
Ability to work autonomously
Adaptable to meet varying and new demands
Demonstrable problem solver
Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel
High level of attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Highly organised and ability to work to tight deadlines in a busy environment
