Our Client is a substantial UK owned specialist 3PL, with interests in petro-chem, gasses and bulk food distribution. The business is recognised as world class with strong attention to safety and customer care. The role will help to strengthen an existing successful fleet management process and help to undertake a root and branch review of all assets within the UK.
Reporting to the Chief Executive and with daily links to operations and customers, the job holder will undertake an audit of all procedures, procurement, VMUs, physical stock/assets. He/she will ensure that all possible efficiencies are implemented, liaising with sites to ensure ongoing availability of stock. Compliance will naturally be a big part of the role as will your relationships with all statutory authorities.
Certainly a graduate and with a postgraduate industry relevant qualification and a CPC, your experience to date will have encompassed the management of large mixed fleets. You will be numerate, literate and have the ability to influence change at all levels
