About The Business:
We are working with one of the largest mobility providers who are changing the way that consumers and businesses keep on the move and use vehicles throughout cities in the UK and across the world.
With phenomenal growth in 2018 and new marketing leading products being brought to market, their aim is to maintain being a leader in the mobility space. London is now their largest market globally so to continue to lead the way they need to make sure their products are fit for purpose and their operation is slick, so they are looking for a Head of Fleet to manage all elements of the front and back end of our vehicles’ lives and manage then relationships with the OEM’s.
About The Opportunity:
Head of Fleet – Future Mobility Solutions
£45,000 - £55,000 Basic Salary
Reporting directly in the General Manager of the UK you will have full responsibility for managing the full lifecycle of your fleet of vehicles. This means making sure that you have the right vehicles, fit for your mobility proposition and developing the most cost effective and economical fleet to keep London mobile.
You will be developing the fleet strategy and then managing a small team who will manage the day to day logistics of the operation.
Whilst managing the fleet, you will also be responsible for establishing and managing the relationships with the OEM’s to make sure you are buying the right vehicles at the right price and at the right time. And with the adoption of an EV fleet being part of their long-term strategy, you will need to know your stuff when it comes to electric vehicles.
Buying the right vehicles, fleet optimization and cost is key.
To be part of driving this market leading mobility operation, you will:
Knowledge/Passion for the Automotive market – ideally in future mobility solutions
Have experience managing relationships directly with OEM’s
Experience/knowledge of how to run a fleet of vehicles
Examples of creating effective business solutions and managing processes
Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-changing environment
