An outstanding and rare opportunity is available from a Blue Chip Global organisation for a professional to join their successful business supporting Airports UK wide as their Head of Fleet Management.
With full responsibility of leading the implementation, development and continuous improvement of cost effective fleet management solutions,
Candidates of particular interest are those who have been head of fleet management services for organisations with fleets of HGV's or similar including maintenance, supply chain and logistics etc.
Heading up 5S programmes for maintenance services and implementation of quality and continuous improvement, you will have ideally at least 7 years experience of operational fleet management or less maybe considered depending on your career lead up.
Candidates preferably will come from a fleet management background, goods, logistics or even rail already at senior level or those with previous experience as a workshop manager as part of your career path in a heavy goods or similar environment is preferable / or of interest, as are those candidates who have come from the forces i.e REME, Royal Electrical Mechanical Engineers in the capacity as a manager with responsibility for fleet management of vehicles / specialist vehicles.
Having budgetary responsibility for manpower, parts, supply chain, you will be a strong and commercially astute leader with Workshop Managers reporting to you.
