Interim Logistics Manager

Our Engineering client is looking for an Interim Logistics Manager to ensure the availability of equipment and materials required for engineering maintenance. You will be responsible for maximizing supply chain efficiency across logistics (remote sites), inventory management (regional stock locations), supplier management & purchasing. The objective is to establish and maintain an efficient transport and distribution network whilst looking at the four key areas above. You will have solid experience of running a multi-faceted warehousing and logistics operation, with knowledge of electrical engineering components and distribution, negotiated with suppliers and managed bids/contracts and know how to run the most cost effective and efficient operation possible. Interpersonally you will be a visible leader who is accountable and responsible, with strong attention to detail and the ability to influence, persuade and change.
