Aspire Cambridge are recruiting for a Logistics Manager on behalf of our client based in Baldock, Hertfordshire.
The role will involve:
Sales order processing
Reviewing finished work and filing in the correct place
Process despatches internationally via air, sea and land as well as domestic shipments.
The majority of shipments are international so understanding chambers and letters of credit, doing all the export documentation, dealing with customs tariffs, import and export coding
Using couriers and freight forwarders and liaising with them and dealing with all the shipment paperwork
Using Sageline 200 (any Sage experience is sufficient)
Checking orders against the customers' orders, then raising an internal order
Managing 1 part time person
Liaising with departments/couriers/customers on the phone
Understands the importance of detail
Looking to develop and grow in a business
Previous experience of international logistics as well as domestic
Good knowledge of Sage/Excel/Outlook and Word essential
Start: April 2019
Location: Baldock, Hertfordshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Salary: £24,000 to £28,000
