This leading worldwide manufacturer is looking to recruit a Logistics Manager to their management team. The role is based within their South Wales production facility, which is currently experiencing an enormous degree of growth and prosperity. This is a key role within the company which provides genuine career progression and further development.
Role & Responsibilities:
oLead & develop a team of personnel across procurement, planning & stock control.
oProvide accurate and timely information on resource and capacity required to meet customer requirements
oActive member of the site management team
oEnsuring that the best value in terms of quality, price and service is always achieved
oHands on coaching and mentoring of all team members
oResponsibility for KPIs and prepare budget activities
oWork closely with global supply chain to obtain competitive pricing
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
oExcellent Logistics experience at management or supervisory level
oProven track record of achievement in all aspects of Logistics, MRP systems, planning tools, stock accuracy and transportation
oExperience within the manufacturing industry
oExcellent negotiation skills
oExperience of working with both customers and suppliers
o£45,000 to £50,000 salary
o25 days holiday
