BCS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Logistics Manager for our client, a well-known, large residential new build company based in London. The position is a permanent placement within our clients organisation.
As the Logistics Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the logistics for a residential new build project in Guildford. The main responsibilities for the role are:
Managing/co-ordinating all deliveries & vehicles to and from site.
Working closely with the crane supervisor to co-ordinate and manage lifts
Managing storage of materials and waste management on site.
Using Datascope software on tablet device daily to book deliveries into site from suppliers and contractors.
Keeping the logistic managers office and main site office up to date through daily white board updates.
The correct candidate will ideally have:
5 years experience in a Logistics Managers role
Degree level education in Logistics, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar
In return the client is offering £40,000 - £50,000 per annum along with competitive holiday and pension package.
