JOB DESCRIPTION -
Applicants will be expected to have previous experience of maintaining mechanical automotive systems. The role is focussed on preventing issues found by users in the field by developing suitable engineering based responses to these issues and embodying these within technical equipment support solutions.
The post holder will provide Integrated Logistic Support to individual Project Managers within the Information Systems and Networks Delivery Team. Key responsibilities include (but not limited to): Aid with the collation of Work/Knowledge Instructions for Deployable IT. Collation of the required information to feed a 3rd party vendor for the production of AESPs (Technical Publications); specific attention to detail will be required with the aim to help provide a high standard document, including AESP CAT 201, 211, 412, 522, 601, 711 & 741. Use of RAM4 in support of ARM production. Production of supportability documentation in line with SEOC guidance and the DLF (JSP 886), to include but not limited to: Deployed Supportability Case Deployed integrated Support Plan In support to the ILSM, feed in required data for the SSDT and Support Maturity Levels (SML) Software Support Generic: Any long term Logistic Demonstration remediation ITIL guidance for the support function The post holder must be able to work under his/her own initiative, have good communication skills and a sound knowledge of DE&S iLog processes
