Role Overview:

The Logistics Manager will manage all functional and transactional process for outbound activities for UK and 3PL in Europe. They will be responsible for managing the execution, direction, and coordination of all transportation matters within the organisation. This includes organising and managing booking schedules, ensuring on time deliveries to all customers, managing transport companies’ performance, KPI’s and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all logistics functions including day to day booking schedule & transportation operations of EU and UK business.
Liaising with transport companies and develop relationships with customers to ensure compliance to SLAs, pricing, and on-time delivery expectations
Develop and track supplier KPI measurements service level and ensure compliance to delivery requirement for each retailer
Lead UK/EU Fulfilment & Transportation strategic roadmap - and work with Director of Operation on process implementation and improvement
Expand and improve transportation options to rapidly scale the number of customers the business can reach throughout the EU and UK.

Candidate Profile & Experience:

Extensive experience in a transportation environment with a logistics service provider or brand/retailer, in the UK and/or Continental Europe
Willingness to learn new systems for day-to-day operations, or for the collection of data to perform analytics
Strong analytical skills utilising Excel and other analytical tools.
Experience with WMS (e.g., Manhattan OS or iSeries, JDA), OMS (e.g., Manhattan Order Management), ERP (e.g. NetSuite), and various other supply chain oriented systems, as well as clear understanding how they interact with one another and how they can be used to build an end-to-end logistics solution.
Familiarity with typical EU customs and freight regulations
