They now have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Manager to join lead the Logistics team at their Rainhill site. This is a permanent, full time position.
Within the role you will manage and continually develop the Logistics teams, ensuring distribution has maximum efficiency. Planning, organising and coordinating resources to meet logistics requirements, you will develop and maintain good working relationships between logistics, service and production departments, driving optimal customer service. Resolving any logistics problems, eliminating inefficient supply and distribution routes, you will ensure vehicle and driver compliance whilst improving people development.
They are looking for someone who has a proven track record in a similar role. With experience of leading and managing a team in a customer focussed environment, you will be a CPC holder and will have experience of implementing continuous improvement programmes.
A good communicator and IT literate , you will have a high attention to detail and will be able to analyse data and interpret information effectively. Experience in lean manufacturing systems is preferred but not essential.
