BS5412: Managing Director / Logistics Manager
Salary: £40,000+ with discretionary bonus depending on experience

A company hiring out luxury portable loo trailers and designer washrooms is now looking for a Managing Director with a specialty in logistics management, customer relationship management and staff management. The Managing Director will be working for a company that has one of the largest fleets in the industry and provides toilet solutions for some very large and prestigious events, as well as smaller private parties and weddings. The Managing Director will be mostly office based but will occasionally go on site during the summer months to meet clients and help set up events. The successful candidate will be working alongside the foreman and members of the driving and office staff to ensure everything runs smoothly.
This role would suit ex-military candidates and applications from ex-service personnel are strongly encouraged.
Trailer Delivery schedule planning
Trailer Cleaning schedule planning
Large event logistics planning
Maintaining client relationships
Pricing new quotes for customers
Staff recruitment and HR management
Health and Safety management
Sales and Marketing
In yard 7am-5pm Monday-Friday during summer. Extra hours paid overtime. 8am-4pm winter.
Key Qualifications and Experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and email
Licence to tow a trailer
Good team player with leadership skills
Lives near Winchester/Basingstoke.
Very reliable and diligent
Desirable but not necessary
Health and safety knowledge, first aid certification
Experience in managing a business
Fully qualified plumber
Experience in other aspects of manufacture including electrics and carpentry.
