Our client is a fast expanding in vitro diagnostics (IVD) company with
its technology platform based around Next Generation Sequencing (NGS).
As a direct result of this expansion, they now wish to appoint am
experienced Manufacturing and Logistics Manager to further enhance and
drive operational excellence.

The role is to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction,
operational efficiency and regulatory compliance through the effective
delivery of product and instrument supply.

Key areas of responsibility:

* Manage the transfer of goods and materials from in house
production and suppliers through to customers

* Oversee supply chain management activities to ensure ongoing
availability of product for the in-house service lab and external
customers, including management of OEM suppliers

* Develop and maintain relationships with senior members of OEM
suppliers

* Manage and negotiate supply agreements with OEM suppliers

* Oversee the QC and Manufacturing activities to ensure product is
released on time and available for shipment to customers

* Manage inventory, including monitoring stock levels and utilizing
sales forecasts to ensure stock levels remain above a defined
minimum

* To contribute to the wider management of the company in
conjunction with fellow senior managers, including ad hoc projects
from time to time

* Engender a team culture with a strong, proactive customer focus
which also maintains the highest standards of professionalism and
quality

* Supervisory/Management Responsibilities include Supply chain team,
QC / Manufacturing team and Logistics

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:

* Appropriate technical qualifications in the field to at least
degree standard

* Experience and appropriate qualifications in Project Management

* Experience of working and adhering to ISO13485 Quality Management
Systems

* Expertise and experience of managing teams of qualified people in
the areas of operational delivery

* Excellent planning and organizational skills and attention to
detail

* Expertise and experience of operating at senior level within
appropriately relevant organizations
