The Opportunity

We are looking for an accomplished and credible National Business Development Manager to facilitate the delivery of plant and construction machinery new business for Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions (HCVS). Your base will be your home office, with travel to visit clients and company offices, so you can be located anywhere in the UK. A car or car allowance will of course be provided as an integral part of your package.

In addition to a highly competitive package, which is negotiable for the right person, this role offers the opportunity to put together creative solutions which meet all your clients’ needs under one roof. Working for HCVS, you will benefit from the enthusiastic support of multiple business areas in putting together innovative deals for your prospects. This innovation is why we've been so successful in winning and retaining a growing number of prestigious household names - which means you'll have some great case studies to draw upon when winning new business.

About You

You already sell plant to a variety of business customers. You have developed exceptional relationship-building skills, and have delivered deals of different sizes, showing perseverance through longer sales cycles. You understand the importance of staying in touch with prospects even when they are tied up in existing contracts. You have demonstrated success in pulling all of this together to deliver sales and are looking to join a business that will support and reward you in taking things to the next level.
