Purpose of the Job: Managing the production & logistics operations of the business by planning and controlling the movement of devices from goods in to despatch through effective prioritising of workloads and management of resources.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate success in a similar environment
Duties & Responsibilities:
Coordinating and enforcing operational and personnel policies across the team to ensure effectiveness of the department in meeting operational needs.
Manages internal processes for delivery and despatch of goods by working closely with customers, suppliers and transport companies, to meet customer and supplier needs.
Accountable for the performance of the team by implementing necessary training, setting objectives, providing feedback and reviewing progress.
Responsible for producing monthly management reports providing key performance data for the department.
Implements best housekeeping practices throughout the department to ensure space and processes are managed effectively reducing bottlenecks and downtime.
Uses internal systems to manage and track stock movement to provide an accurate audit trail.
Supports the company security policy by monitoring movement of stock and personnel into and out of the department to lessen security breaches.
Assists the team by working to plan the day’s workload and priorities ensuring staff can commence jobs with no delays.
Conducts checks to ensure all equipment is in good working order and meeting Health and Safety standards to reduce downtime and accidents.
