Sales & Marketing Director – Motor Finance

South East/Home Counties

£80k- £85k plus bonus, car and excellent benefits package



Our client is the captive finance company of a major European motor group, with a strong UK presence.


An opportunity has arisen for a Sales & Marketing Director to join their senior leadership team, based from Head office in the South East.


The role is responsible for the development of the overall sales and marketing strategy, development of all finance and insurance products and the day to day management of sales and marketing departments.


Key Reponsibilities


  • Develop existing and new business opportunities through the dealer network, maximising profitability from both retail and wholesale operations

  • Develop and launch new products into the network

  • Responsible for the overall management, development and assessment of the commercial team, and for the achievement of volume and profit objectives across the business

  • Work closely with manufacturer partners at key decision maker level

  • Oversee, in conjunction with relevant departments dealer pricing to agreed limits

  • Ensure compliance across the business and dealer networks

  • Achievement of commercial and financial budgets

  • Management of a team of c 5 direct and 20 indirect reports.


    We are keen to hear from suitably qualified individuals from within the automotive sector, who can demonstrate a track record of success in senior leadership roles.  You will have a knowledge of retail and fleet funding products, in addition to wholesale lending, with strong a strong commercial focus.


    Additionally the successful candidate will have a high degree of self motivation, excellent time management, the ability to motivate and develop a sales team, and the ability to negotiate and influence at senior level, both internally, and with senior dealership and manufacturer personnel.
