Senior Logistics Manager

What is expected of you?
·Creation, implementation and management of a logistics and
·Day to day operational management of the warehouse distribution and
·Identify and implement new distribution processes to optimize
·Create a Data first logistics environment to ensure continuous
improvement throughout the distribution centre.
·Management of logistics budget to achieve quarterly and yearly
targets / forecasts
·Oversee all logistics / distribution staff providing support,
training and development underpinned by the company ethos.
·Project management of all logistics business projects
·Provide detailed insight and offer support to all key stakeholders
and departments to ensure optimum customer satisfaction
·Build solid and long-standing relationships with all 3rd party
suppliers through hands on management and reporting on performance
·Ensure that the logistics function is being given the best possible
price on all 3rd party services through regular price negotiation and
·business development, performance and service delivery plans to align
with overall business strategy
·Management of all health and safety standard and regulatory
requirements with the distribution function.
As a fast-growing business going through an ambitious a change
programme it is essential that the new Senior Logistics Manager is a
dynamic leader who can provide the following experience –
·Experience of defining and implementing distribution and logistics
·Experienced operational warehouse, distribution and logistics manager
·Experience of working within the Retail, FMCG or E-commerce sectors
·Solid experience of working with WMS/ERP systems to provide
·Record of successful business improvement and change project delivery
·Respected people manager with history of staff training, development
·Excellent people and stakeholder management abilities
·Expert analytical abilities and report writing
