As Transport Manager you will be responsible for the safe management of my client's commercial vehicles and drivers in their daily duties in line with the requirements of the Road Traffic Act and must demonstrate a high level of client service skills to promote and endorse the company's ethos on providing their clients with an excellent service. In addition, you will work in conjunction with the client services team in the day to day operation of both on site and office based support services provided to the customer base. Your working week will be 40 hours per week; these hours are incorporated within a shift pattern between 07:30 and 17:30 Monday to Friday. An amount of unpaid overtime will be required in this role. Liaison with all member of my client's management team will be required to ensure good operation. The role requires responsibility and reporting on a monthly basis for specific budgets and targets that are under you control.

Of course a background in transport management is required as is a CPC and efficiency in planning and routing LGV and Service vehicles.
