Corr Recruitment has an exciting new role with one of our clients based in Newbury. Our client is looking to recruit a Transport Manager to join their successful team.
Salary:
Negotiable
Hours of Work:
07:00 - 17:00pm Monday - Friday 1 hour for lunch
Duties of the Transport Manager role:
* Planning routes for collections/deliveries.
* Dealing with clients and sales management
* Planning drivers schedule
* Approve working hours for drivers
* Vehicle management - MOT, checks etc
* Vehicle cost and fuel cost
* Training performance reviews
* Holiday management
* Maintenance planning
* Dealing with clients and sales management
* Coordinate 6 lorries, 4 trailers and 8 vans
Experience/Skills required for the Transport Manager role:
* Previous management experience
* Excellent organiser and communicator
* Computer literate, preferable knowledge of SAP
* Hands on approach
* Previous HGV driving experience
* Good customer service skills
* Can do Attitude
