Our client is a leading global logistics supplier with a presence across the world with a vacancy for a Transport Manager to join the team.

Responsibilities
To manage the Transport Department in a safe, legal and compliant manner. The applicant will be required to lead, coach and develop the Transport team in their daily tasks, providing guidance and support on Vantec policies and procedures and management of the MHE Fleet Contract.

Skills and Qualifications Required
*Experience of working at a managerial level
*Experience of using various software systems
*Ability to provide comprehensive guidance on legal compliance
*Guide on transport related policies and procedures
*Excellent organisational, presentational, planning and administration skills
*Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
*Proven leadership and delegation skills
*Ability to work under pressure
*Work independently and as part of a team
*Ability to analyse data and present findings
*Transport management CPC (National)
*Driving licence (Car minimum)
*Responsibility and/or involvement in project related work

Working hours
07.55 - 16.35 - Monday to Thursday
07.55 - 14.45 Friday
Must be flexible to meet the demands of the business. This includes the flexibility to provide the support to a 3 shift work pattern, production overtime where required and be contacted out of normal working. Candidates must be flexible to support overtime.
