As the Transport Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all planning and organisation of the North West transport arrangements keeping the customers needs at the forefront. You will ensure transport costs are in line with any existing transport agreements.
To be successful in the role of the Transport Manager, ideally, you’ll have held a similar role previously within the Food Production industry. You will run a daily team meeting to ensure business requirements are clearly understood and that any transport issues are discussed, and solutions agreed. Ideally, you will hold a National CPC qualification however this isn’t essential as training can be provided.
With a recent acquisition of business’, they are in need of Transport Manager to support the transport function who will be responsible for ensuring the effective management and control of the internal and external transport resources.
