Cubed Resourcing is working in partnership with a Leeds based manufacturer of garden and lifestyle equipment to recruit a Logistics Manager, to be an integral part of their Management Team.

We are inviting applications for this business critical role. The successful candidate will assume overall responsibility in a standalone for a dedicated fleet of vehicles, drivers and yard/goods in and out personnel.
Key duties and responsibilities include; preparing and checking loads and deliveries, route planning and optimisation, planning and managing resource, drivers/hours, health and safety within the scope of the function and beyond.
The ideal candidate will also have worked with third party/3PL partners, commercial contract hire and will have a full understanding of raid haulage rules, policies and law.
This is very much a hands on role - with the successful candidate having the scope and autonomy to introduce improvements and efficiencies to the business it further improve customer service and productivity.
In return, you can expect a salary in the region £35k, negotiable dependent on skills, experience and capabilities, staff discount, pension scheme, holiday purchase scheme, regular social events, enhanced paternity and maternity entitlements and a good onsite canteen and facilities.
