Transport Manager - Requirements

* An experienced transport manager preferably from a general haulage or manufacturing background

* Able to demonstrate a genuine passion for delivering great service

* A real self-starter with tonnes of enthusiasm and a sense of individuality

* A supportive leader who has a passion for managing and developing their team of drivers and planners

* A genuine passion for transport and logistics

* Comfortable in upholding Health and Safety, Compliance and Cost standards

* CPC (National) Qualified - Essential CPC (international) Qualified - desired

* Solutions driven with the ability to think and work under pressure with time constraints

* Commercially orientated - focus on world class customer service

* Union experience

Transport Manager - Responsibilities

* Manage the depot transport operations

* Work with the general manager to run a fantastic depot

* Leading and developing a team

* Motivating your team, driving passion for an exceptional customer service

* Instil a companywide culture of efficiency and quality

* Ensure excellent Health & Safety standards at all times

* Assist planning team with real time issues

* Liaise with customers regularly to ensure that expectations are being met

* 'O’ License Holder
