Managing the warehouse and logistics team and arranging duties and rotas. Arranging additional temp staff as and when needed.
Managing stock levels within the main warehouse and calling in additional stock as and when needed from the 2 outside depots. Stock take, stock control and correct stock rotation etc are pivotal.
KPI reports and cost management and budget creation to ensure the long-term success and sustainability of the team. These KPIs would need to presented to the board.
Arranging picking of orders and ensuring accuracy prior to despatch.
Route and load planning for our growing fleet of HGV lorries.
Managing the lorries maintenance and usage and driver hours etc, CPC qualified would be an advantage
Health and safety responsibility within the warehouse and logistics side of the company.
Licensed to drive a forklift (counterbalance and reach) would be an advantage.
Have good communication skills and ensure the culture and ethics of the company is translated to all warehouse and driving staff at all times, whether customer facing or in the workplace environment.
Stock control, warehousing, costs management and stock rotation experience is essential
