Now seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Warehouse and Logistics Manager who will take complete ownership of the department. You will be a key member of the management team.

THE ROLE

Management of warehouse staff members, including staff resource planning
Take the lead in processing of pick and packing and despatching
Goods in management
Leading the preparation, collation and despatch of large international shipments
Assessment of damaged or returned goods
Design and implementation of improved packing and despatch processes – including warehouse organisation
Collaborating with the IT and Database Director on the technology choices for use in the warehouse environment.
Plan and co-ordinate the incoming goods, storage and despatch of items in a timely and efficient manner.
Ensuring effective, safe, accurate and timely stock management to include space allocation, stock transfer and dealing with non-confirming products
Organising and ensuring accurate and periodic stock takes and cycle counts
Ensuring the quality of the product and service within the warehouse is maintained to the highest possible standards
Ensuring quality procedures and quality targets are strictly adhered to
Liaising with our purchasing manager to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained
YOU

We are looking for an experienced people manager, who has excellent communication skills at all levels. You will also be/have:-

A responsible and mature attitude to work
Previous manual handling experience
A strong knowledge of health and safety practices
Good physical condition as heavy lifting may be required
A ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to bring your team along on the improvement journey.
Ability to work with multiple competing priorities

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
