Business Development Manager – Contract Hire

£38,000 to £42,000 plus car, secondary car scheme, bonus and excellent benefits scheme
Our client is a major player in the provision of Contract Hire into the UK b2b market. They are currently seeking a Business Development Manager, who will be responsible for new business acquisition though the dealer network and directly in the corporate market place. In this role you’ll develop innovative solutions to differentiate themselves from their customers. You’ll be accountable for the development of commercial terms to maximise profitable and sustainable business relationships.
To be successful, you’ll need to have a strong delivery record in new business acquisition within the vehicle leasing industry working for a contract hire company currently or in the recent past. You’ll also need to demonstrate you can proactively research and network to identify the best opportunities to grow their fleet, developing senior relationships. It goes without saying that you’ll also need advanced negotiation skills, excellent communication skills both verbal, presentation and written are crucial, as is the intellectual capacity to identify the most successful strategy when approaching potential customers to ensure that the company is the best partner they could work with. You’ll need to demonstrate a high degree of commercial awareness and skill gained from extensive experience within this market place enabling the delivery of effective, profit maximising proposals. This will include a good and in depth knowledge of all funding types and the financial benefits and impacts on customer P&L and Balance Sheet.
