Working in GAP Vehicle Hire our Driver/Valeters are responsible for ensuring that all vehicles are checked and cleaned to the required standards. Driver/Valeters work closely with the workshop team and hire desk to ensure that vehicles are delivered on time.

Job purpose & accountabilities:

Delivery of hire vehicles to customers including compilation of hire documentation.

Key Objectives / Areas of Responsibility

  • Vehicle checking.

  • Vehicle cleaning.

  • Prompt delivery of hire vehicles.

  • Deliver excellent customer service.

  • Assistance with fleeting up/de-fleeting of vehicles.


Skills mandatory:

  • Results and quality orientation driven.

  • Clear communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritise work and deliver to deadlines.

  • Disciplined Work Approach.

  • Flexible and able to work under tight time pressures.


Skills desirable:

  • Experience of working in a Vehicle Hire operation.


Essential: Full clean driving license.
