National Fleet Support Unit
Location: National Distribution Centre, Larkhall
We are looking to recruit to the role of Fleet Administrator that is key to the future success of this new operation, which will be based at our National Distribution Centre in Larkhall, Lanarkshire.
The National Fleet Support Unit (NFSU) is a newly formed national service established to undertake key fleet management and engineering duties on a national basis for NHSScotland (NHSS). The NFSU will provide support to NHS Boards through the Regional Fleet Management Operations, to ensure optimum utilisation and deployment of key resources and provide resilience and flexibility to the service aligned with national strategic plans around quality, efficiency and safety. A key function of the department is the assessment of Road Risk and the formation of long term plans to reduce it as effectively as possible. NHSS operates in excess of 10k vehicles, which range from Cars to 38T Artics.
