Marketing Business Development Manager – Midlands

Our client is a global financial services business who are looking for a Marketing Business Development Executive  to  support the commercial functions of the business in specific markets, in the areas of sales effectiveness and efficiency, business intelligence, business development and marketing & communications. 


  • Acts as primary point of contact for all Price Manager (PM)  related queries, initiatives and activities
  • Plans,  coordinates and executes updates and developments from the Process Leader and/or the Business Development Manager
  • Trains related staff in the use of PM, and as ‘train the trainers’ .
  • Promotes best and full usage of PM internally and externally through trainings, materials analyses and reviews
  • Ensures and maintains compliance of POS quoting via PM in line with all PM integrated authorization levels and compliance checks

Business Intelligence (BI)

  • Designs, implements and follows up all locally or centrally initiated sales support programs, campaigns, marketing initiatives, special offers, etc. administrated via PM
  • Provides standard monthly commercial reporting for commercial leadership
  • Via PM, provides KPI’s for the evaluation of sales efficiency and effectiveness for review by sales staff like lost deal analysis, pipe line report and others
  • Maintains, analyzes and distributes additional sales efficiency and effectiveness information from other centrally or locally available tools and processes
  • Coordinates, monitors and follows-up on all market data that improves efficiency and effectiveness of commercial staff and its processes
  • Coordinates, monitors and follows-up on effective market segmentation in cooperation with dealers and product companies
  • Coordinates, monitors and follows-up on local or central performance improvement initiatives (e.g.: satisfaction indices, customer surveys, benchmark initiatives)

Business Development (BD)


  • Coordinates, monitors and follows-up on the internal and external  related competence development and training of commercial staff, new staff members, and dealers
  • Coordinates, monitors and follows-up on strategic and tactical initiatives

Marketing & Communications

  • Ensures that the  marketing activities complement and support the  companies activities
  • Ensures that marketing activities and marketing material are compliant
  • Designs, implements and follows-up on Digital One, Social Media activities and other initiatives
  • Assists in the local commercialisation of new products and services from a marketing and communication standpoint


  • University degree in Business Management or similar would be preferable
  • Good knowledge of sales and operational processes ideally within an asset finance company


  • Ability to gain a solid understanding of Price Manager quotation tool
  • Experience of marketing activities in a commercial environment
  • Demonstrable skill in data management, analysis and interpretation
  • High level of competence in Excel and Powerpoint
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced level of English (oral / written)
