The eventual sale of vehicles is key to the bottom line story for the business and therefore the position we are advertising holds significant importance to the success of the company as a whole.
The role of the Fleet Car Sales and Remarketing Manager – will be to manage the used vehicle remarketing operation in country and be fully responsible for executing the sale of used cars using the most cost effective B2B or B2C sales channels. You will be fully responsible for the department and report to the Vice President Fleet Remarketing. Your work will encompass designing a monthly Departmental P&L together with devising and implementing sales team incentives and customer loyalty programmes where the focus areas will be to achieve and improve both volume and profit targets. Your sales team Management will also ensure that the Company move quickly to online sales strategy but at the same time maximizing on their price position from sales through partners and affinity schemes as well as internal employee sales. Managing the “time to sell” and the expansion of our customer base are also important factors as well as managing and developing local and other European routes to market.
The Person we seek will be an expert in used car sales and remarketing. The very high volumes of cars to be managed under this role requires a person who is able to drive and motivate retail car sales staff to achieve their individual targets as well as deal with partner customers, such as auction houses, motor dealer groups, internal and the general public. The role calls for an innovative person who thinks about the future and has the ability to plan, construct and deliver new marketing strategies which may well include a pan European car sales programme and exporting as well as on-line sales initiatives.
The Salary is negotiable (DOE) plus car and benefits.
