About our Client:

  • Our client is one of the World’s leading tyre manufacturers who have been manufacturing tyres for over 100 years and sell to customers across over 150 countries. They are looking for a Regional Fleet Sales Manager who is commercially astute has a successful B2B sales background in both account management and new business, preferably from the tyre/automotive industry.
  • About the Role:
  •  The Regional Fleet Sales Manager will:

  • Develop the trading and interpersonal relationships with the account base to deliver company goals for sales and profit.
  • Conduct timely and targeted visits and sales calls to customers and prospects to create and maximise continuous and profitable revenue.
  • Generate a high level of customer satisfaction through timely responses to customer needs, deliver great service and provide prompt and reliable follow-up to customer request.
  • Manage and develop effective working relationships at all levels and relevant functions within accounts.
  • Negotiate trading terms in line with contractual agreements.
  • Prepare specific strategic action plans for prospects.
  • Take a consultative approach with prospects and provide a professional solution that maximises the opportunity to win business and create long term customer relationships.
  • Undertake regular detailed commercial reviews of the sales pipeline to identify areas of opportunity and risks.

About You:

The Regional Fleet Sales Manager will need to demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Have the ability to consult effectively with key customers.
  • Possess excellent presentation & communication skills together with commercial awareness.
  • Able to negotiate at Director/Executive Board level.
  • Be self-motivated with the ability to work collaboratively towards the teams target and the company’s revenue targets.
  • Ability to develop key relationships both internally and externally.
  • Strong selling, negotiating, reporting and commercial skills.
  • An excellent negotiator who can balance the requirements of both the company and the client to achieve results.
  • Confident and articulate in all forms of communication and is able adapt their style to suit each situation or audience
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook).

In addition you will need to have:  

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • The ability to plan and ensure your time is managed efficiently.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and prepared to travel extensively across the South of the UK.
