Customer service and client focus are paramount to the business, and as a result, a Vehicle Hire Damage Controller is now required to take responsibility for damaged vehicle procedures across the company vehicle portfolio.
The role of Vehicle Hire Damage Controller will require a methodical and personable individual. In addition they will display good attention to detail and be self motivated to ensure smooth administration procedures are followed at all times. The Vehicle Hire Damage Controller will ensure all vehicle related paperwork is collated and actioned on with both clients and engineers as appropriate. The Vehicle Hire Damage Controller will have responsibility for ensuring prompt and efficient reporting on the status of all damaged vehicles.
Key Skills Required:-
Able to confidently communicate, both orally and written
Can work independently or as part of a team
Be able to efficiently use different computer and software applications
Be able to multi-task
Have excellent time management skills and able to effectively prioritise tasks
Be a proactive person able to identify problems/issues and resolve in a timely manner
Previous vehicle rental experience would be a distinct advantage
Have experience of using Prohire or similar package
Full UK driving licence
The day-to-day responsibilities of this role are varied and will include:
Liaise with hirers and engineers regarding cost queries (e.g. damage claims)
Keeping records of all claims, collecting relevant paperwork as required by company and statutory guidelines
Maintain accurate details of the locations of all company vehicles and any details relating to their usage and damage
Experience of succeeding in improving and delivering high standards of service
