Corporate Business Development Manager

Job Purpose:

Responsible for the Business Development of new SME and Corporate Fleet accounts in line with the company vision and values.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Promote and sell products and services to new clients

·         Sell consultatively and make recommendations

·         Develop annual business plan in conjunction with Line Manager

·         To achieve and exceed all sales goals and targets

·         Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations and follow-up activities

·         Maintain professional internal and external relationships

·         Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes


Person Specification:

·         Solid experience in a sales environment, ideally within the fleet or corporate sector

·         Business Development competency

·         A history of new account development

·         Extensive experience in all aspects of Customer Relationship Management

·         Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements

·         Willingness to travel

·         Proven ability to achieve sales targets

·         Be visionary in approach to customer and business development


Target Sectors:

·         SME’s, Owner Fleets, Public Sector


Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

·         Sales performance
·         Lead conversion to closed deals
·         Average net profit on each deal
·         Weekly and monthly sales reporting



Home Based - Travel/Client visits will be required.
