Our Client is recognised as the UK’s largest and most successful manufacturer of customized waste containment solutions. Their extensive and diverse range of industry sector applications include recycling, materials handling and transportation. This is a thriving, multi million pound turnover operation and as a result of continued success in line with a planned programme of strategic growth they are now seeking to recruit a dynamic, proactive and self-motivated Manager for their Compaction Division.
Reporting to a main Board Director and after an initial intensive product training programme the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of an already well established and successful UK manufacturing operation and rental fleet. The role requires undertaking both existing account management and proactive new business development activities supported by an experienced and effective national sales team.
In a competitive environment where the average sales order is between £15k and £200k you will lead from the front being a self-motivated and tenacious individual who is not only able to open and close opportunities but provide backing to the Sales Team in their new business endeavours.
Whilst previous experience in waste management is essential, you will possess a proven track record of sales success and the ability to communicate and influence effectively with people at all levels within a customer service focussed environment. This is a National Business and therefore the role requires flexibility with extensive travel throughout the UK.
